Bristol 100D engine 624. Originally fitted to AC Ace Bristol BE 296 then to Aceca Bristol BE 621 for Ron Brightman who raced the car. Car then raced by Hugh Dibley. Car to J. Bradburn c.1990 and engine removed and retained for installation in another Ace Bristol. Engine fully rebuilt by IN racing with all new parts. Money no object rebuild. All new Gordon Kiddie crank, new IM Camshaft and followers, new valves and springs, New Cosworth pistons etc. Then fitted to BEX 155 which had previously been fitted with a Ruddspeed Ford unit by Adrian Hall. Pole position in Ace anniversary race in 2003 – Tony Hill driving – race abandoned after incident. about 5 more races then engine taken out and refreshed by Stanton Motorsports and dyno tested. c. 150 bhp. Been instore since. No longer have an Ace so will regretfully let this engine go.
